hitogata (DEMO)

Hooouuugh this is such a good demo, I'm already SO hooked, and excited to see more! The setting and little world building hooks we get are so intriguing, with the dolls and the living lighthouse, and none of it being explained yet. And I'm obsessed with Fran and Mario's dynamic; Mario is so endearing, he makes me really nostalgic for like. Early 2000s internet type characters, in the most positive way possible. And I really love how Fran matches his energy and rolls with all the punches, they have such a fascinating dynamic, and I can't wait to see it explored further!!

Seriously so incredible, in all elements you could wish for! I loved the dialogue, all characters had a story, so much interactable throughout the story, and just for the demo, you've gave us so much to theorize, genuinely one of my favorite games now!

I've recorded my gameplay if that peaks anyone interest, but certainly don't let me rob you of your first experience, check out the game for yourself, and embrace the really in-depth world!!

This was a special demo. Right at the intriguingly mysterious opening cutscene I was hooked, and from there on out it only led further into a darkly comedic and touching adventure of an indie title. 

Everything here does it for me, I love it’s urban yet surreal take on a post-apocalyptic world. I love it’s likable yet aggressively pained characters and their funny interactions. I love it’s expressive art style all culminated through a seemingly impossible blend of heartbroken angst, confused ennui, yet still a considerate passion put into this amusing microgame-filled world perfectly reflecting how tiring our own reality has become.

 I was especially quite astonished over how good and eclectic the music selection is here, it immediately caught on to my own personal taste, and with how the direction of the story is going, it’s here promising me that this is a special game experience I cannot wait to further unravel. After quite the darkest battles I’ve been personally facing at this stage of my life, It’s so liberating to come across the most welcoming surprises of life that show up in unsuspecting places like here and be reminded that the most human moments in life are worth surviving for. Needless to say, I am excited for this, and I hope the story continues to deliver these qualities. It might be sad. It might be beautiful. I’ll be back for it’s full release to find out.

Good demo! Everything runs smooth and the puzzles were kind of confusing at first, this is like Deltarune but more doom and gloom and edgy

i have never been so in love with an art style before and there is something so, so special about the writing. this is so unique, it's going to be AWESOME. i cannot wait.
